Karen Burnell

Karen joins The Mimir Collective as an Associate Consultant. She is a Chartered Research Psychologist with extensive experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based, non-clinical, and asset-based interventions that promote wellbeing.

Throughout her career, Karen has worked across sectors to help organisations and communities design and deliver programmes that make a measurable and meaningful difference to people’s lives. Her expertise spans wellbeing research, evaluation design, and the translation of evidence into practice.

Karen has a particular interest in the role that heritage and culture play in supporting wellbeing, as well as in understanding the impact of trauma on populations such as veterans. Her work explores how reflective, strengths-based approaches can enable individuals and communities to flourish at all stages of life.
